The Silent Journey
So, obviously not many updates here. :P I had a lot of plans for this page, but while I'm still huge One Piece fan I just don't have the time. I may update occasionally now that I remember this page exists (and some people actually come here!), but don't expect anything! Comments or questions welcome.
Avatar Gallery Open!
I finally got around to putting up my first batch of a ton of avatars. I'm setting my site to not allow remote linking to the avatars to keep from getting too much bandwidth usage, so you won't be able to just link to the avatar to use it.
Also, there will be some delay on the colored cover I was working on. I've recently had some very bad technical issues, and now I can't even find the development files (PSDs) of the cover to see if they made it through safely.
The Grand Opening
Last night as I was working on coloring the cover of chapter 180, I was thinking how this would mean adding another One Piece page to my site, when I was already going to move my One Piece guide from its forum topic to my web site. So I thought, "Why don't I just make a new web site for my One Piece stuff?" It sounded like a good suggestion, so I decided to listen to myself. 9 or 10 hours later, here it is! I have my One Piece guide, Mysteries of One Piece guide (coming soon), Avatars (also coming soon, but I posted one of the 120+ avatars I made), Colored Covers, Desktop Backgrounds, and finally Winamp skins. Please let me know what you think!
I want to integrate this page with a blog later on (the same as my personal site) so people can post comments, but for now, please just leave comments on the relevant news post at JerekDain.com (does not require registration or email address).
Oh, and if you're using Internet Explorer you will notice some strange glitches. I've tried to find the source of the problem, but my code contains no errors, and follows pretty standard design techniques, and I'm not doing anything very fancy with the design. But in the mean time I highly suggest you use a non-IE browser (for everything, not just this site :P). A very popular one is Mozilla's Firefox, though I personally prefer the highly customizable Opera.
